Public Band Page
A page at bandjams.com/your-band that anyone can visit — built from the music you already have here.
Your address
Every band has a web address of the form bandjams.com/your-band. It is short enough to put on a poster or in a bio, and it is the same address whether someone is on a phone or a laptop.
Turning it on
Go to Settings → Public Page and make the band public. Until you do, visiting the address shows nothing to the outside world — band members see a preview banner reminding them the page is not live yet, and search engines are told to skip it.
What actually appears
Only items you have marked Public. Making the band public does not publish your catalogue — it publishes the things you have individually set to Public, and nothing else. Playlists and releases marked Public also get their own pages.
Blocks
The page is built from blocks. Drag to reorder them, switch off the ones you do not want, and use up to 16 in total. Each block can appear once.

Themes
Start from a preset — Classic, Neon night, Tape, Zine, Haze — then adjust anything you like: typeface, light or dark surface, and the backdrop (a colour, a mesh, one of your own images, a pattern, or the animated haze). Picking a preset does not lock the individual settings.
There is no raw HTML or CSS to edit, by design. Presets plus a handful of controls means the page keeps working on every screen size and stays readable, rather than becoming something you have to maintain.
Changing your address
- Owner only. Admins can edit everything else about the page, but not the address.
- Once every 30 days. After a change, it locks for a month.
- The old address redirects for 90 days, and no other band can claim it during that window — so posters and old links keep working for a while.
- Some words are reserved because they collide with parts of the site, and will be refused.
Being found
Public bands are listed in the Band Jams directory and in the site's sitemap, and each page carries the tags search engines and social apps read — so a link pasted into a message shows a proper preview image and title rather than a bare URL.
